I would live in that credulous time

when a virgin gave birth,
when dumb creatures knew awe,
when angels had pure soprano voices and really flew,

and God tossed down a star to illuminate it all.

she came to the church to eat.

Turkey and stuffing

imitate a home-cooked meal;

but oh ! When can she go home?
