I am in need, terrible need of a written word.

And it has to be mine. It should

be spontaneous, too, no parsing

and lup-dubbing, now.

I need to write out my despair and

write in gladness, joy,

even exhilaration, if I can.

It’s always been there in me.

Where did it go?
